Reconnect & Restore — A Zion Retreat
JUNE 4 - 7, 2026
An Immersive Adventure & Restoration Retreat in Zion & the Surrounding Desert
Grounded movement. Intentional adventure. Deep restoration.
Reconnect & Restore is a four-day immersive retreat set in Zion and the surrounding desert landscapes of Southern Utah. Designed to support nervous system regulation while reconnecting you with your body, this experience blends movement, nature, challenge, and deep rest.
This retreat is for people who don’t find restoration in stillness alone. For those who regulate through movement, exploration, and being fully present in their bodies. Here, effort and ease coexist. We move with awareness, listen closely, and let the land lead.
This is not about performance.
It’s about attunement.
Why This Retreat Exists
Modern life keeps us in constant output—mentally sharp, physically active, yet often neurologically depleted. Even when we train regularly and “do the right things,” our nervous systems rarely get space to settle, integrate, and recalibrate.
Caitlin Meek (connect on Instagram) and Rez Pazooki (connect on Instagram) created this immersive retreat from a shared belief that movement and restoration are not opposites—they belong together. Drawing from their combined backgrounds in embodied movement, nervous system regulation, and restorative healing, Reconnect & Restore offers a fully immersive rhythm of movement → rest → integration, supported by one of the most grounding landscapes in North America.
Zion and its surrounding canyons offer vast stillness alongside embodied adventure. The land invites perspective, humility, and presence—creating an immersive container for both challenge and restoration. You’ll leave feeling energized yet calm, grounded yet open—with practical tools you can carry home into daily life.
What to Expect
Intentional Outdoor Adventure
Guided exploration in and around Zion, including nearby parks and canyon systems. Experiences are chosen to foster grounding, curiosity, and confidence—not speed or performance.
Activities may include:
Scenic hikes such as “Angels Landing* or “The Narrows”
Slot canyon exploration and beginner-friendly canyoneering, moving through narrow sandstone corridors using walking, scrambling, and simple technical elements as appropriate
Optional hiking and exploration in Snow Canyon State Park and the surrounding desert terrain
Mountain biking or e-biking, with terrain options suitable for beginners through more experienced riders
Canyoneering routes are intentionally accessible and confidence-building, emphasizing flow, teamwork, and embodied awareness. No prior technical experience is required for planned routes.
All activities are guided with attention to safety, weather, group energy, and individual capacity. Modifications, alternate routes, and rest options are always available.
(Angels Landing participation depends on permits, weather, and group readiness).
Somatic Movement & Nervous System Support
Daily practices rooted in somatic awareness and neuroscience-informed principles. These sessions help regulate the nervous system, support recovery, and deepen connection to internal cues—before and after time in nature.
Restorative Healing & Integration
Group Reiki and restorative sessions allow physical and emotional experiences to settle, integrate, and land—balancing adventure with deep rest.
Choice & Autonomy
Participation is encouraged, never forced. This retreat values discernment over pushing and honoring the body’s signals in real time. Rest, solo time, or gentler alternatives are always supported.
Community & Connection
A small, intentional group that allows for shared adventure, meaningful conversation, and quiet companionship—without pressure to perform or overshare.
Nourishment & Shared Meals
Food is part of the experience.
Throughout the retreat, we’ll enjoy a thoughtful blend of clean, nourishing family-style meals at the house and select outings to local, farm-to-table restaurants in the Zion area.
Meals are designed to support:
Energy for adventure
Recovery after movement
Nervous system regulation
Community connection
Expect whole foods, balanced plates, and meals shared around a table — relaxed, intentional, and grounding. This isn’t restrictive or rigid. It’s simply about eating in a way that supports how we move and feel.
Dietary needs and sensitivities will be accommodated
